The Canada Express Entry 2015 is a faster and more efficient immigration process started from 1st January 2015. It offers permanent residency to Canada for skilled workers. As an applicant, you will need to follow two steps:

Step 1: You will need to submit your application and all the relevant documents online in the Express Entry Pool.

Step 2: Once your application is selected, you will need to accept the Invitation to Apply for permanent residency.

The overall candidate is awarded points on the basis of Age, Education, Experience and IELTS test. These can be calculated using your CV as it will contain all the documents in one place. The eligibility is awarded on

• Age between 21-44 years

Up to 12 points will be allotted to candidates between the ages of 18 and 35 years. Each year above the age of 35 will reduce the points by 1, with no points being awarded as of age 47.

• A Degree/diploma/trade certificate

The maximum number of points awarded for education is 25.The education that gains points are PhDs, masters, bachelors, diplomas. Candidates who have only studied till the 12th will not be eligible to apply for the pool. Qualifications gained abroad have to be evaluated by WES with transcripts from your university.They will determine point equivalent to the Canadian Education System.

• IELTS General score 7 each band

To be eligible in the languages ,you must meet the minimum level 7 in the IELTS which is a English test approved by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC).The test entails speaking , listening , reading and writing. You will have to include the test certificate when you complete the profile in the Express Entry. The results are not varied after two years since the date you have taken the exams. There is also another test that can be done which is CELPIP: Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program.

• 2-3 years full time experience within last 5 years

The revised Canada Express Entry 2015 requires a minimum of 1 year from the date of completion of your latest degree. The 1 year will count according to 1560 total hours per year. The experience will only count paid work. It will not count voluntary work and unpaid internships. You must show the duties listed in the NOC in your complete profile.

All of the above have varying points as people may be more experienced or the younger they are. After your education assessment and IELTS scores, you can then go ahead and out your application in the pool.
